Anyway, now that I can put some actual content here, I had to make a hard decision today. I had a bonfire planned for Saturday evening, and several folks had planned to come. Cold doesn't matter. That's what the fire is for, right? However, the current weather conditions predict that Dad's pasture will be a mud hole by Saturday.
I can't have a bunch of cars driving through a mud hole, and I can't be creating a mud hole at Dad's. He'll shoot my face off. Or, maybe something less dramatic, but he wouldn't like it. I wouldn't like my guests being all covered in mud, either.
So, I called it off. That stinks, but disappointment builds character, right?
Friday, I'm going to a Jake Owen concert in GV. I can't WAIT! Q104 has the best concerts, and the free ones ROCK MY WORLD! I love Jake Owen. I'll get to see my cousin Jeremy there, too. I didn't know he worked there until I found him on facebook. Now, I know I'll see him on Friday. Coolio.
It's cold and wet outside. Thank goodness it's warm and dry in here. I came home to dinner ready and am now in my bed, watching TV and playing around on here. My life could be worse. I'm just sayin'.
OK, now to focus on the future. Maybe we'll make it to the tailgate for the Well-Nap game on Saturday, since I had to cancel the bonfire. That would be fun!

I'm really hoping there's a way we can see that game also. Pat and Charlene plan to spend all day Saturday at his folks, so it might work. Cliff's sounding like he might want to go, too.
