Sure, the traffic tip post was short. It's all I had. Here's why:

Kevin's been informed today that he would no longer be paid. He's only been receiving 3/4 pay anyway, while on workman's comp, but we've been hanging on to our house. Today, with no notice, we're told "no more." Huh?

Apparently, if I understand it right, their independent Dr. admits that there is a problem, but is a work related injury the reason that surgery is needed? He can't be sure. Is it?

Umm, yeah? Sure, there is some other stuff going on in there, but it's due to OTHER work related injuries. GAH!

Attorney was called, and said "they can't do that." Umm, dude? They ARE doing that. He's working on it. Meanwhile, Happy Holidays! Your income just got cut in half! WooHoo!

*sigh* I'm so tired.

Who knows what will happen? I may be a renter again by the first of the year. I love my house, but I gotta feed the family, right? I keep telling myself not to get depressed. I keep telling myself that I have an awesome job and we can make it. I'm just sick of being kicked while we're down.

Every. Time.

I'm sick of the stress and sick of juggling things to make it work. He has a job that forced him to do the job of 2-3 people BY HIMSELF. It hurt him. They won't let him work with restrictions. He must stay home. Now, they won't pay him, either. When does it end? When do I get a trash bag full of money dropped off on the step?

I'm tired.

Hang in there babe. We love y'all. Can't help ya' with the bag of money right now. It sucks to be a construction worker. ;)

I think your lawyer is right- there is plenty to appeal here. Just hang on.

Hey Rachel! Haven't been by in awhile. Sorry to hear of Kevin's job doing that. I hope the attorney can get it all worked out for you. Hang in there girl!
